Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 866.333.YOGA if you are interested in taking this training. No previous Yoga teaching experience is needed, and you do not have to be a Yoga teacher to learn how to bring yoga and meditation to kids of all ages.
Join Kimie Mittman, Director of Kids Powerflow Yoga for a comprehensive and fun weekend of kids yoga teacher training! During this long weekend, you will learn how to lead intelligent classes for kids from birth all the way through teenage years. Kimie will cover appropriate ways to teach kids of all ages, special needs kids, urban populations, kids who are developmentally delayed, athletes, and all types of children, and will help you learn to navigate teaching in any environment. Whether you’re already a yoga teacher, or you currently working with children, this training will give you ample tools that you will be able to integrate into your work and teaching right away! You will learn how yoga can help kids, and help you interact with them through fun yoga poses, music and games. You will develop an understanding of how yoga can be beneficial for each age group, keeping it fun, and "cool" so the kids want to do the yoga again and again. Training also includes classroom management techniques, and strategies for keeping the kids engaged and happy so they can get all the benefits of yoga, including better focus, balance, fine motor skills, and greater confidence.
