  • A: We are happy to offer payment through Venmo, Zelle, Chase QP, PayPal, or by check, for group yoga classes or any private or semi-private services. Discounted package pricing available for 5 or 10 sessions. Please call 917.224.9622 or for a quote, email us floryogastudio@gmail.com

  • A: You can request an instructor for private and semi-private sessions at the time of booking. If you are not familiar with any of our teachers, let us know your goals and what you want to get out of your yoga sessions, and we will send you a great fit for your session or class.

  • A: You just need a yoga mat. For pre/postnatal yoga, you will also need 2 blocks and a large towel. If you don't have any yoga props/mat, we are happy to lend you one for your first class or session upon request. We also recommend you have a small bottle of water to stay hydrated during your yoga practice.

  • A: Comfortable, stretchable clothing that you can move and sweat in. You don't want your clothes to loose fitting as they may get in the way when you're moving into poses. For pre/postnatal yoga, please consider investing in prenatal yoga/fitness wear for greater comfort.

  • A: No, yoga is done in bare feet or in yoga socks.

  • A: Our Fall 200 Hour Vinyasa Teacher Training will take place at Sol Spirit Yoga JC in The Heights - just steps away from the 2nd Street and 9th Street Lightrail stops!

    Class takes place on Mondays & Wednesdays from 7:30 to 9:30pm & on the selected weekends from 1:30 to 4:30pm.

  • A: Holiday break: There will be a Thanksgiving break.

  • A: The syllabus is shared privately only after registration (along with the Sol Spirit TT Manual) as a class schedule/calendar via Google Calendar. All details about readings, homework, and the class curriculum on any given day are all on the calendar.

  • A: Hybrid: Our 200-hour teacher training is mostly in-person, with Mondays on Zoom, and Wednesdays & selected weekends at Sol Spirit Yoga studio (located at 523 Palisade Ave. Jersey City, NJ.

  • A: We aim to accept a maximum of 15 trainees to keep the training a semi-private, intimate, and attentive experience. Space is limited, spots fill up fast!

  • A: The cost of our tuition is $2800 total ($800 nonrefundable deposit). Various flexible payment plans are available for the balance of tuition. And we have now added a special All-inclusive price or $2950 for the Fall — if you would like to have unlimited classes at Sol Spirit throughout training (recommended if you live in the area)

  • A: We have been holding its Yoga Alliance accredited teacher trainings since 2005, nearing two whole decades! We have graduated over 500 teachers who are bringing yoga to the world.

  • A: Our 200-hour curriculum includes the weekly lectures, classes, 30 hours of Anatomy and Physiology, 10 hours of Philosophy, Meditation and Pranayama, 15 hours of practice teaching, 30 hours of at-home/in-studio yoga practice, & 3 exams..

    The weekly lectures consist of: Pranayama (breathwork), Sun Salutations & Flow, Alignment & Modifications, Anatomy and Physiology, Adjustments and Basic Thai Yoga assists, Injuries - Indications/Contraindications, Meditation and Energy Balancing, Communication and Responsibility, Sequencing (Practice Teaching), Pre/postnatal and Restorative Yoga, Sutras & Chakras, Static Standing, Balancing and Floor Poses, Non-Weight-Bearing Inversions, Legal Issues and Starting your Career, Private vs. Group Teaching.

  • A: Upon registration for the teacher training, you will be sent the Sol Spirit 200-Hour 160 page Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Manual.

    For props - the following are recommended: a sticky mat (yoga mat) of 3-5 mm in cushion, 2 yoga blocks, a yoga blanket, a yoga strap, Props are available at the studio if you forget to bring yours.
