Flor Yoga is yoga delivered to you, home or office. What could be a greener solution? One teacher to several students = smaller carbon footprint. Time and transportation costs disappear, a big plus for urban professionals and busy parents. In Manhattan and surrounding areas, we have been providing yoga to corporations and residential gym facilities for several years. We also offer private and semi-private yoga, and we are thrilled to announce our Spring 2010 Jersey City Yoga Teacher Training at Lila Studio this Spring went well, graduating 9 instructors.

Flor Yoga was founded in 2005 with the intention to branch out from a limited physical address to multiple spaces. The need for a yoga workout at work or home has grown with people's busy schedules. Gyms have sprouted in the workplace and the new residential condo culture includes in-house gyms. So why not invert the commute? Even mothers-to-be enjoy prenatal yoga more when the trip to class is 2 minutes. Our personnel has worked with us for a number of years, and our newer teachers will be referred directly from our upcoming training.

Our philosophy is to bring the ideal yoga class into your home or office: reliable, experienced, compassionate teachers guide you and shape your yoga class according to your specific needs. Classes can be 45, 60, 90 minutes, or even a three-hour workshop with live music. We offer help in getting materials such as props, mats, even clothing. We also have e-mail announcements and use the web to stay in touch and work with client feedback.

Whether you have a corporate office, a football team, or just a family member in need of a conveniently located workout, we are presently teaching in the Jersey City/Hoboken/Manhattan area to provide prompt service to the growing yoga universe.

Flor Yoga currently holds classes at First Brokers Securities, Liberty Harbor Condos, Liberty Towers, Canco Loft, A Condo, Grove Pointe Condo, Hamilton Park Condo, Gull's Cove Condo, Brick Haus Fitness, Newport Swim and Fitness, all located in Jersey City. None of these is open to the general public, you must be a member of the facility or a resident in the condo.
